Choibalsan-Dalbalbar Transport Road EIA for Emeelt Mines Co., Ltd/Western Prospector Mongolia Inc., Canada 2008

Ecotrade LLC Prepared the EIA for Choibalsan-Gurvanblag Road and Transport Project proposed by Emeelt Mines LLC/Western Prospectors Inc., Canada. They are currently implementing a mine development program at the Gurvanbulag (GB) Uranium deposit. In relation to starting the mine, there is a need to complete a road before being able to erect main structures at the mining site. The starting point of the gravel road between Choibalsan and GB is where the road branches off from the road to Aduunchuluun Mining (N53333137.779, E316130.140) and the end point is the GB Mining site (N5440040.800, E281209.925). The road width will be 7 m (number of travel lanes will be two), the width of shoulders on both sides of the road will be 1.5 m, therefore total width of the elevated road will be 10 m. Accordingly, the road will occupy about 117.3 hectares of land.
