Ulaan Khud Copper-Gold Deposit Area Environmental Baseline Survey for Asia Gold Co.,/ IMMI Inc,Canada 2010

Asia Gold Mongolia Co.Ltd has commissioned Eco Trade LLC to conduct Environmental baseline survey in 2010 for their Ulaan Khud license area (12423X). Ulaan Khud license area hosts copper-molybdenum-gold deposit and it is located in Hanbogd soum of Umnugobi aimag and in the north of Oyu Tolgoi project area. Asia Gold Co.Ltd is planning to mine the ore body through open-pit mining. Eco Trade has carried out environmental and social baseline survey within the license area in order to identify environmental and social values so that the environmental impacts due to mining activities could be assessed and mitigated in future. Environmental and social baseline survey covered, geomorphology, physical and chemical conditions, climate, hydrology, soil, fauna, flora, social and cultural aspects of the survey area.
